Joy Green-Armstrong | Bio

Joy Green-Armstrong has been a licensed attorney for 22 years. Licensed in Georgia, Alaska, and Connecticut, she has considerable experience working with first-time home buyers, investors, real estate agents, brokers, bankers, credit unions, and title companies. Joy’s approach to business is a commonsense philosophy of respect for the individual, excellence, sound legal advice, and attention to detail which has earned her high praises and respect from her clients, and peers. Her deep commitment to her clients – means they understand the transaction and the documents prior to signing.

Prior to opening her firm, she was a corporate executive and attorney for a multibillion-dollar international corporation and the largest community bank in the state of Alaska. Joy has trained and lead senior management and board members. As Vice president of Compliance, she oversaw mortgage lending, operations, servicing, and underwriting. As Legal Counsel she negotiated commercial service contracts and commercial real estate contracts with national companies, federal agencies, Native corporations, and the State of Alaska Railroad. As a federal attorney with the Administrative Offices of United States Courts, and Assistant District Attorney for Alaska Department of Law, she has always followed her north star to carry out her duties justly, with an unwavering commitment to fairness.

Joy is an active member of her church community in Marietta Georgia where she serves as a Liturgical and Eucharistic Minister and a volunteer with the ChrisTeen Youth. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading.
